I have them. They are absolutely cute. But heavy which makes them weird to walk in for a bit. And a bummer to travel with.

  2. AmyM says:

    Cute cute cute cute CUTE!

  3. Katie Lynn says:

Crazy. They look like orthopedic shoes.

  4. blackbird says:

    Crazy AND cute.

  5. Katrina says:

Look cool, but awfully hard to get around in. I have a pair similar.

Thanks for the words of experience, you-all! I am in the market for platform sneakers. They don’t need to be this high and they must be comfortable to walk in.

These look cute though, too bad they are not comfy. Guess they need a tweaking.

I will probably get something sportier anyhow, I like things I can beat up.

Crazy. Seriously, seriously what in the bloomin world are you thinking? crazy. I so love most of the fashion on this site and then !Blammo! Some crazy shoe. But I also seriously support personal fashion. So, go crazy!

  7. belle says:

um, I don’t like Supergas for some reason.
And I really don’t like platform sneakers. Nope. These don’t work for me.

  8. Lourina says:

Neither crazy nor cute, but a whole lot of wrong.

  9. Lesley says:

I love Supergas, but I think I have a weird-shaped foot for them (weird, becauese I am of Italian descent, so you would think they would be perfect for me) and they never look nice on my foot. So I always have to be jealous of everyone else’s…

I would want to try them on. But navy or red?

It all depends on how you feel about wearing things – fads- you’d already worn 15 or so years ago… To me, platform sneaks will always take me back to the late 90s and Spice Girls. In other words, if the associations are so strong, perhaps it’s too soon? That’s what I’m finding with most of the fashions from the early to mid 90s too; creepers, Levis 501s, floral prints, babydolls, etc. What do you think?

  12. mims says:

    umm, no

  13. Jill says:

Not in this lifetime. For me, at least.

  14. Steph says:

You have a way with words. You make me laugh.

  15. Guesty says:

Both? I can imagine how heavy they’d feel to walk in and can’t quite get past that.

I love sneakers but these old/new sneaker iterations (platforms, wedges) don’t yet seduce me.

  16. Tamara says:

I bought a pair once. Super cute but they weigh about 4000 pounds by the end of the day. Ankle paradox: they make your ankles look tiny but hurt like hell!

  17. Amy says:

I had these about 18 years ago. I wore them with sundresses and overalls! They weighed a ton!

  18. Arcadia Girl says:

I have them. In White. And I LOVE them.
You know how platform sandals give you that nice added height and do good things for the appearance of you legs? Same here.

I adore Supergas. In fact, I am the proud owner of white 2750 Estreme COTW Crystal Supergas. But the platform kind featured in the photo are the very worst choice for this otherwise very good brand.

  20. c.w. says:

Not so much crazy or cute. Meh, methinks.

  21. Donna says:

I Love Supergas. I have silver lame ones with studs – both the hi- tops and regular, and a pair of gold lame ones. Thay’re very comfortable. But I’m not attracted to platform sneakers. I would love to have a pair of the wedge sneakers, if it weren’t for a knee injury.

  22. Diane says:

i have some blue high top ones which are way cuter and versatile than these…and i love my supergas

  23. Meg says:

    Cute. Go. Buy. Enjoy.
