  • Fashion people soldier on. (The Cut)
  • Everyone’s favorite ultraconservative gun advocate/faded rock star  Ted Nugent, who once said that he’d be “dead or in jail” if Obama were reelected—whatever that means—will be attending the State of the Union Address.  He was invited by Congressman Steve Stockman (R-TX), who must be a very class act. (Atlantic Wire)
  • Sometimes, I don’t get it when people talk about certain behemoth web-based companies being all big-brother-ish. And then other times, I really do. (Adfreak)
  • I love this story about a Baltimore hairdresser who, acting on a hunch that historians were incorrect about  the notion that women in ancient Greece and Rome wore wigs, set about to prove them wrong. And totally has. (WSJ)

If you had come from book publishing you’d get it.
Amazon’s practices are not nice (and I am not speaking of their employee relations, which are, apparently, terrible as well).

I hope Ted Nugent has to go through like 90 metal detectors and have several manual pat downs and perhaps a thorough body cavity search, is all I’m sayin’.

I would rather see Ted Nugent than more drivel from Obama the baby killer.

I live in DC but I’m going to drive up to Balrimore to get my hair done and have her tell me her stories!

Great story about the Baltimore hairdresser. Let’s hear it for intellectual curiosity!

Ted Nugent has been acting like a jerk for 40 years – it’s his schtick. If that Congressman wants to be known by the company he keeps ….

Love the story about the hairdresser. Thanks for the link. What an interesting woman.

I hope that poor fashion person didn’t ruin her shoes or freeze her toes. Surely there are beautiful boots one could wear to the shows.
