I have wanted a good chelsea boot ever since i went to visit a swiss boyfriend and he was so appalled by my appalling shoes that he took me out to find me a nice “chelsea boot.”
And I never dated another European/Metrosexual again.

Ha. That didn’t really make much sense I guess did it. As i recall–and it was a long time ago–we never did find any shoes.

They are basically pull on jodhpur boots for riding. My favorite is the Ariat Louisville, which is (unfortunately) no longer in production. I have multiple pairs in black, brown, and black patent, that I bought when they stopped making them. I like the boots, but I prefer a more substantial sole/heel. But simple black boots – they make everything better.
Tods has great Chelsea boots, sometimes Cole Haan ( with all that comfortable Nike Air stuff inside) has them too. Also, get some that are waterproof, you’ll get so much more use out of them.
I love flat boots – Have a pair similar to these,but they are so old I may need to replace them. Thanks!
