  • I don’t know if I object on feminist grounds to the fact that little girls can now get their faces  digitally superimposed on their favorite Disney princesses, or simply because it is deeply creepy. (Jezebel)

Paul Weller! Can I get a “Style Council” amen?

I’m going with “because it’s creepy” on the pictures. There might be some shit about body image there, but it’s kind of obscured by the fact that it looks like they’re made of piped frosting.

And I realize this may be heresy, but can we please get Paul McCartney to stop? His attempt at Hey Jude in the opening ceremony was utterly cringe-inducing.

So if you’re British, still alive (no matter how barely), and once recorded a song you will be in the Closing Ceremony. Ugh.

Shout out for Pussy Riot Chicago!

That is a good idea Hanna’s got.
